LODOWN #92
we just love the smell of paper
Welcome to the next round of meta & physical mental drift aka your beloved Lodown Magazine. This issue is a little bit more pop & street oriented – and sure, you might say, “what’s the difference,” and perhaps you’re right, ‘cause we haven’t changed a motherfucking thing. It’s all been street since day one, from the fights at Washington Square to the Brixton Metalheadz sessions or Berlin’s First of May riots. The street is our turf, it just got gentrified a lot – and a bypass has been installed, the fucking Internet! Now everybody can peep into each other’s pants and all streets have been virtually united. Every trend is sucked up to the data highway and everywhere you go it’s the same – yeah... finally it’s one big trend. Purpose traders of singularity laughing up their sleeves. London, New York and Paris are on the same grid and soon Berlin will fall…
Unless... unless what?
I mean... is there anyone who cares?
Personally speaking, I am really fed up by all this crap that is coming through the channels.
Social media does not offer a type of elevation; somehow it just keeps me from thinking.
Consume and Control, that’s all this is about.
What does not offer feedback is off the grid and downright not happening, so you are probably asking yourself why are you still holding this non-responsive magazine in your hands? It’s an artefact, right? But there are still some people who believe in diversity and autonomy. I am firing against those who are destroying it!
Just like back in the days, I say, “Wankers suck our Style!” Stay street smart.
Roll with a winner, Baby
Yours,
Lodown
