I never really had a musical love affair with Adam Green, neither with his solo stuff nor with his early days as one half of The Moldy Peaches. This one here made me have a major crush immediately though.

Mr. Green is back with a new film and an accompanying album/soundtrack, and visually he's going all Wenzel Storch on us. It's a papier mâché-driven take on the classic Arabian Nights tale, which sees Green starring as Aladdin, who's living with his dysfunctional family in a “regular” American town ruled by a corrupt Sultan with a decadent socialite daughter.
