AESOP ROCK

Integrated Tech Solutions

Accomplished rapper and producer AESOP ROCK has just announced that his first proper solo album in three years, "Integrated Tech Solutions," will be released on November 10 via Rhymesayers Entertainment. The announcement comes alongside a video for the album's unintentional mission statement, "Mindful Solutionism," which depicts humanity's progress from the wheel to modern agriculture before taking a misguided hairpin turn toward nukes, cigarettes and surveillance cameras... or as AES succinctly sums it up, "We can't trust the stuff we come up with."

"Integrated Tech Solutions" presents itself as a concept album about "lifestyle and industry-specific applications designed to curate a desired multi-experience," and takes fits of goofy corporate-speak to separate the parasitic business culture from the parts of life that really matters.

The album's artwork was illustrated by renowned artist Justin "Coro" Kaufman, who was also responsible for the video "Mindful Solutionism" as well as the artwork of AESOP's 2020 album "Spirit World Field Guide".

As you've come to expect from AESOP, it's simultaneously bitingly funny and enigmatically profound."I've been doing laps of the lost worlds," he raps on "All City Nerve Map," sounding simultaneously exhausted and invigorated. "I can draw a map to the raw nerve."
