ANDREA CREWS

spring summer 2015

Andrea Crews was created as an alter-ego. It’s a fictional figure with whom everyone can relate, Man or Woman, American or Spanish, super hero or conquistador. Andrea Crews is free and generous, and  ready to defy the established order. Whoever wears the mask is Andrea Crews.

Over the decade, a joyful army has been recruited to join forces. It is now a collective project made of lots of atypical faces that create one unique and beautiful face. Last week was the Paris Men Fashion week, and Andrea Crews jumped on this opportunity to revealed their Summer/Spring collection for 2015. Ex-Dj, music lover and Parisian designer Maroussia Rebecq, founder and creative director of the Andrea Crews convinced the lovely Maluca to be part of the Andrea Crews’ very first fashion show. Straight from Manhatthan, the charismatic singer worked with "Red Bull Studio Paris", to compose an exclusive-explosive creation remix by Parisian electronic band “Club Cheval”. Her impressive performance stole the show as she twerked and sang around the models.

The event took place at the Musée d’Art Moderne - a great venue to present a collection highly focused on artists and tourists. The Andrea Crews designed a complete wardrobe made of all the most touristic items you could possibly find in Paris. Most of the prints in the collection are a mash up of different paintings from Van Gogh – The star of every tourist in the City of Lights.

An ironic, but yet beautiful collection that blends the 90s’ swag with the casual ready-to-wear menswear and the cheap souvenirs bargained at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower.
