Wow, this looks pretty insane. Bergamo based artist Andrea Mastrovito recently did a kind of remix of his original installation “The Island of Dr. Mastrovito“ - which was originally on display in New York four years ago - for a show in Lausanne.

Obviously a funny nod to H.G. Wells' famous novel, the installation consists of hundreds and hundreds of cutout animals and plants from old textbooks, which the artist meticulously arranges for a very different kind of diorama.
