From Eggs Benedict and Vietnamese Porridge to Deep House and Indie Rock. For the first time the monthly Breakfast Market at the infamous Markthalle 9 in Kreuzberg 36 teamed up with their favorite Berlin recordlabels - and shops. Many of the labels will offer new releases, rarities of their back catalog, white labels and limited editions that are not available online anymore.

The idea came from Heiko Hoffmann, Editor in Chief of Groove Magazine, putting more than 50 stands together with street food-Thursday-initiator Kavita Meelu to his feet:

"While the sale and consumption of music takes place increasingly online, to the Breakfast & Vinyl Market reminds us that the acquisition and enjoyment of music continues to be social and is also a very emotional affair".

The Breakfast & Vinyl Market is a treasure trove for vinyl lovers and a paradise for breakfast and friends - and for us pretty much the best way to spend a Sunday.
