This short documentary follows Lori Nix and Kathleen Gerber of Nix Gerber Studio, long term collaborators who create miniature worlds to photograph.

Nix states “I’m not the type of photographer to find things to photograph, I’m going to create things to photograph”. They have been working on a long term project called ‘The City’ which is about the concept of spaces becoming decimated after the presence of humans withdraw and nature reclaims it.

Lori Nix is a photographer, and Kathleen Gerber a sculptor, together they bring you into their dream worlds. They are even in an intimate relationship and live together, so the lines between professional and personal life are totally blurred in a beautiful lifestyle.
