HVW8 Berlin announces INTERIM SOLUTION a solo exhibition by German artist and graphic designer Eike König; it's the artist’s first time the solo exhibition in Berlin.

In his newest series of large format paintings, König continues his investigations of culture and language play by focusing our attention on contemporary subjects and themes dealing with concepts of the present.
The title INTERIM SOLUTION suggest the varying approaches taken by the artist to navigate, albeit temporarily, the issues and concerns faced in our new contemporary world until a better resolution is at hand. These interim solutions serve as an effort to encourage movement further within the liminality and uncertainty of our world. Because these modalities serve as impermanent and temporary stand in for something more final, they are allowed the freedom from the trappings of perfectionism.
