Farmfestival 2014

pass the hat - the secret busking sessions

Farmfestival started as a small gathering between friends. Nine years later, the party is still going on, and it is now open to everyone. Farmfestival believes in a genre-defying selection of music from emerging talents, cult heroes & local gems, inspiring arts activities, amazing charities and great local produce set to a beautiful Somerset vista.

This year, Farmfestival decided to work with “Save a Cow” as their main charity with who they are aiming to raise £4,500 (or 6 cows!!!!). If they reach their target, the festival and “Save a Cow” would help over 100 farmers. This great organization helps families in Africa, where they provide livestock and training in natural organic farming practices alongside courses in gender equality, conflict resolution and more.

This year, the party will take place on the 9th & 12th of July in a vacated 19th century hardware store in Hackney all filled with good wine, summer cocktails, and fresh homemade food boards. Entry will be by donation to the BSA (British Stammering Association) on the door, no tickets needed. Acts will also be busking for the BSA! Farmfestival is an affordable festival in an intimate venue, and it’s all about good music, good causes and good times. Don’t miss it!
