Flow festival

Re-cap

To call Flow Festival just a music festival would be a big understatement. It goes way beyond just music. It’s more like shitloads of urban culture squeezed into this fenced area for one weekend. It’s more like a showcase of what’s going on in urban culture in Finland.

Hundreds of professionals and volunteers work for weeks to build this little wonder village housing 9 stages, over 40 restaurants, loads of art installations and plenty of different hang around areas with their own kind of vibe and theme.

You can stroll around the festival area showcasing your freshest outfit while checking out all the beautiful visual details around you or kick back and enjoy some king prawn ceviche and pinot noir. Too bad the music line up was so good this year, that I didn't have time to do any of that. Instead I just rushed from stage to stage to catch all my favourites.

So dear Flow Festival, what my opinion is worth, you better ease up the line-up or make it a four day festival next year.
