Back in May Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet announced that he would be releasing a new album in early July via his own Text Records label, entitled “Morning/Evening”. But the British producer has decided to unveil it earlier, yesterday, Fête de la Musique's day, “to celebrate the summer solstice”.

The album consists of just two tracks, each approximately 20 minutes in length. According to the Bandcamp notes, the album was produced between August 2014 and February 2015 "on a laptop computer using the Ableton Live software to control and mix VST synthesizers and manipulations of found audio recordings".

Morning/Evening is available on Bandcamp, and it will have a full physical release via Text Records on the 10th of July.
