Geoff Mcfetridge

table talk #2

Our buddies at Monster Children recently released the long-awaited second episode of their “Table Talk” series, which puts its focus on contemporary and inspiring artists. For their second episode Chris Patras has met the great illustrator and artist Geoff McFetridge for a quick chat in his studio.

In the unlikely case you haven't heard of him before: Mr. Geoff McFetridge might be known best for his pop art fixation, creating beautiful illustrations and imagery with plain colours. Also, if you have watched Spike Jonze’s movie “Her” - and liked the aesthetics of it – you will recognize McFetridge’s artworks since he has designed the interfaces for the film, and took care of imagining how we might interact with our devices in that near-future.

Besides working for brands and movies, he actually is a pretty rad skateboarder as well. He has founded the Solitary Arts company with Yong-Ki Chang, a skateboard brand focused on creating boards and its components.
