In case you’ve missed the good news: Mica Levi is back - or rather her trusted indie-outfit formerly known as Micachu & The Shapes is. She took a break from her busy scoring schedule - remember the ones she recently did for Jonathan Glazer’s last two short films and Alejandro Landes’ brilliant “Monos“? Next level business! - then the band got back together with Raisa Khan taking over lead vocals. They renamed the whole thing after their last album “Good Sad Happy Bad“... and instantly delivered another strong contender for one of the best albums of the year.

Seriously, this is pitch-perfect, state of the art (indie) pop, a fantastic blend of melancholic melodies, noise, stunning sonics and the slightly avant-garde. The first two teasers give you a pretty good idea what they’re all about, so don’t hesitate and check them out below.
