Tarryn Crossman's celebrated short doc “Hyena Boys“ is heavily inspired by the famed photographs of Pieter Hugo.

Her latest project - after the heavily acclaimed “Fatherland“ - brought her to Nigeria to track down the hyena boy community - a group of nomadic animal handlers headed by Baba Mohammed, which specialized in taming the wild beast. Watch the impressive trailer below.
