innen anniversary book launch at the Community Centre, Paris

Saturday, 29 April 2023, 3 PM – 8 PM

innen proudly presents the worldwide launch of the innen anniversary hardcover book of almost 500 pages including an introduction by Hans Ulrich Obrist, cover design by Ed Fella, including all innen publications together plus unpublished materials from the innen archives.

Alongside the anniversary book, The Community Centre will host the innen Zine Library including a vast selection of publications available for purchase. During the opening, The Trilogy Tape’s founder Will Bankhead will play an experimental music set in the gallery.

The book is published by P.A.M. aka Perks & Mini. Flyer design by Ed Fella.

innen is an independent publisher, focusing on Swiss and international contemporary artists. Founded by Aaron Fabian in 2006, innen has published over 400 zines and books, establishing itself at the forefront of independent publishers by offering unconventional perspectives on art and subcultures.

In 2010, innen launched Zug Magazine, a biannual selection of contemporary artworks. Zug fosters artistic experimentations in printed matters and each publication acts as a momentary picture-book entwining personal views and practices with broader testimonies of a shared contemporary condition.
In 2017, innen opened an art space and office in Zürich at Haldenbachstrasse 9, which functions as an experimental space hosting exhibitions and book launches. innen publications have been exhibited at Kunsthalle Zürich, Art Metropole in Toronto, Swiss Institute in New York and at MoMA Library.
