The Hamburg singer/songwriter John Allen comes to the IRIEDAILY Brand Store Berlin. After John Debt & DJ YAWWN celebrated their album release in November 2018, John Allen will give a concert! The event takes place on 18 October from 6 pm. Before the concert there will be a reading by John. Admission is free! 

The German singer/songwriter John Allen lives in Hamburg and is actually a teacher by profession. But meanwhile he dedicates himself completely to his music and tours through Germany and the rest of Europe. Allen’s musical home is “somewhere between classical singer-songwriter, folk, country, rock’n’roll and Americana”. In his songs he conjures up the spirits of the past, spins stories of death, fear, despair and the end of the world, breathes life into mysterious characters and becomes more difficult to characterize from song to song, from line to line. 

His fifth and newest studio album “Friends & Other Strangers” was released in April 2019. He will play an exclusive acoustic concert at our store and also give a reading from the manuscripts of his upcoming book.

Of course there will be free drinks again, this time with a gin bar from Gin Sul.
