Utensil maker Komono took his entourage to Marrakech: The Red City, the ruby of North Africa, to shoot their Spring/Summer Collection and have delivered a nice piece on this particular city.

Rough earthen walls and floors, swathed in textiles, colors and tapestry, make up the shape of this city. Rich, vibrant, emphatic and proud. As colorful in color as it is in culture. Sun soaked, wind polished and perfectly patinaed. When the clammering of the city and the chaos of open air markets become too much, escape to the Atlas Mountains and retreat into the Ourika Valley. Our endless exploration of time and vision merges with our perpetual quest for balance and contrast, to bring us here. We rode in on the winds of time, which carried us over the Moroccan desert, to this beautiful place suspended firmly between the past and the present.
