Lost ART x Nike SB

liverpool represent

British skate shop Lost ART is drawing inspiration from the famous Docklands and the now defunct Liverpool Overhead Railway (LOR) that runs along their length for their “The Old and the New of Liverpool City” Pack by Nike SB. The two footwear models draw on a rich heritage of diversity and culture that reflects the changing shape of the modern day city.

Representing the old, the Nike SB x Lost Art Bruin takes colour and material cues from the original uniforms worn by LOR guards, with black pigskin uppers supporting two woollen swooshes. In contrary the modern day technical Nike SB x Lost Art BA takes a brighter approach on the colourway that comes straight from the urban and natural landscape surrounding the LOR and Docklands: the water, brickwork and concrete that have been the lifeblood of the city.

The collection represents the generations of skaters that remain united in a city of constant flux, skaters that have been able to seek out a hidden and raw side of Liverpool that sidesteps it’s numerous clichés to embrace it’s strong history and identity.

The Nike SB x Lost Art footwear range just launched exclusively through Lost Art Skate Shop and globally from the 21st of March.
