Celebrated German photographer Michael Wolf is probably best known as a relentless chronicler of the dense contemporary life in Asia's mega cities such as Hong Kong and Tokyo.

He's returning to Europe for his latest project, aptly titled “Paris Abstract“, in which he's offering a very different view on the French capital: one that avoids any kind of cliché usually connected to the city of lights by putting the spotlight on the mesmerizing geometric patterns and fading colours of Paris' roof tops instead.

The series is still on display until August 30 at San Francisco's Robert Koch Gallery.
