It just took only a very few releases and collaborations to place a shiny red dot on our radar we identified as Beyou. The only info on the mexican vocalist, composer and DJ - except that he seems to be a very nice fella via email - is the one we found on his page: 

Derived from Bubulubu a mexican candy with a chocolate cover, marshmellow and strawberry filling inside, Diego M. Mtz. De La Escalera is called Bubu by his loved ones. Beyou (Bu) is half its name since he works to fussion the paths in his life of music and engineering.

Originally from Tepoztlán, México, Diego has used many names for his presentations as a DJ like Mi Cuate Diego by Rebolledo, Diego Escalera and Bubutecnia by Thumbo aka Gypsy Wolf. In 2013 he released his firsts collaborations with Capri “Disco Re Poch” (Sicario Music), Thomass Jackson „Stillness Of Mind“ (Correspondant) and Blond:ish “Inward Visions” (Kompakt Records). 

In 2014 he released his first solo “Materia / Antimeteria” EP on ILS Records as a start of The Beyou Project. Besides music he also loves spicy food and girls.
