DJ GrOund a.k.a. DJ Gr◯un土 started DJing in his teenage days and has played all over Japan with Osaka's underground music scene as his base. He’s a true omnivore when it comes to music - his style is a widespread border- and genreless garden of sound with absolutely no barriers, picking bits and pieces of whatever feels right and good to him. This led to numerous releases on various labels all over the globe, such as Chillmountain, Most Excellent, Magic Wand, Bokeh Versions and now on Multi Culti’s Moon Faze Sun Gaze compilation.

Together with Mori-Ra he teamed up for an amazing edit work as Oyama Edit and is host of the Chillmountain Festival in the mountains surrounding Osaka. 

The mix he did for us is a slow moving wicked journey you rarely get to hear and I’m more than honest telling you it’s one of the best mixes we’ve heard for quite a while.

Watch out for Ground as he will be in Europe this summer, check his appearance at the Rituals party at Suicide Circus in Berlin on July 21st. I guess there’s more gigs to come.
