If you think of Romania you’d probably go: massive woods, Lord Dracula, dancing bears, the wonderful shores of the Black Sea, the Danube river, folkloristic old women in picturesque villages making goat cheese and gypsy music. At least that’s the picture tourist campaigns still wanna sell. Chances are high you’re not thinking of dance music and pulsating floors first hand but of cheap plastic techno instead. Well, you’re wrong. The Gemini Brothers aka Ionut and Razvan prove that there’s a strong growing scene in the very south eastern part of Europe. 

With a handful of great productions on No More Hits, ISM Records and Homebreakin’ Records and a good bunch of amazing remixes for the likes of Beat Broker, HiEM, Tronik Youth and Dimitri Veimar they’ve catapulted themselves and their hometown Bucharest on the map.

Did we mention they’re hell of a good DJ team? No?
