If you haven’t seen or heard anything about the most vulgar/sassy/sophomoric/ L.A artist Neckface in the last year it is not because he took a break from the scene. In fact, he was working on his upcoming solo exhibition that will take place in his hometown at the New Image Art Gallery. Inspired by the tenaciously seedy bar culture of L.A, “Drinking On The Job” is stimulated by and fully consumed with the world of alcoholic hedonism through the eyes and mouth of Neckface himself.

His method was simple and effective. Just like the motto “write drunk, edit sober”, he worked nightly in a fugue state to awoke the morning after and discover the surprises he left for himself in the studio the evening before. Then, he corrected and elaborated on them before starting the process all over again. The result is great and will without a doubt provoke all the prude ones out there.
