MONDAY MIXTAPE

soft rocks

Soft Rocks have made the leap from record collectors, to editors du jour, to fully fledged producers, releasing a string of original (and not so original) material on their own and other people's labels. They've remixed MGMT, Lo Motion Disco, Beautiful Swimmers, Runaway and many more. Their debut album - 'The Curse of Soft Rocks' - finally saw the light of day on Lovefinger's ESP Institute. This was followed by an all-star remix LP featuring versions from Andrew Weatherall, Cos/Mes, Cosmo, Mudd, Secret Circuit, Justin Vandervolgen, Ray Mang & others. Currently they are releasing other peoples music on Kinfolk and afro edits/ reworks on Black Rox with a slew of remixes for people like Simple Symmetry, Kalidasa & Tiago on the way. New original material is to follow.... Their DJ schedule has taken them all over the world from San Francisco to Japan where they've played everywhere from super clubs to supper clubs, boats, basements, fields and mountain tops.

Their lovely mix for Lodown is „…quite chilled after a few weekends on the road. hope that's ok.“. Indeed, guys, it absolutely is.
