Canadian painter and visual artist Zephyr Christakos-Gee hails from Toronto. Growing up downtown, cartoons, video games, and punk graphics were early inspirations, and drawing was always a method to escape.

When Zephyr saw graffiti, he became enthralled. Soon after, he decided to give it a shot himself, which led to a multi-year obsession with writing graff.

A new chapter began with an impulse move to Montreal in the middle of the pandemic, where he and a companion shared in an industrial loft. Zephyr took up an airbrush and soon developed an obsession with using his symbols, characters, and patterns on goods and apparel that had been repurposed. In addition to frequently releasing limited collections and working with other artists and brands, Zephyr is still exhibiting new work on regular basis.
