Zhu Jinshi

New York Solo Exhibition

Liu Bai, a traditional aesthetic approach to compositional balance in Chinese painting, is embodying great philosophical nuance and just one part of Beijing-based painter Zhu Jinshis first solo exhibition in New York and his second solo presentation with the gallery. Furthermore, some of his presented works will include minimalist and philosophical implications and three sculptural works. This current exibition is one in a few that the gallery host Blum & Poe is introducing with the aim of illuminating the narrative of postwar art in China, Japan, and Korea, correspondenting between east and west — in both of which Zhu Jinshi is steeped, in knowledge and reference.
