Aphex Twin is known to be jokingly and mysterious. Or jokingly mysterious. So it is not too much of a surprise that he decided to release 110 tracks from the early 90s under the name ‘user 48736353001’.

It all started when the user48736353001 left a comment about a track on the Last EP of Richard D James: “Would like to know the full setup for this track, brilliant music man. I love your early '90s stuff so much, I was doing stuff in the early '90s, similar to you but I didn’t know about you when I did it! I'm also 43 years old. :) I’m going to be uploading it to SoundCloud soon, gotta dust off the old DAT’s & cassettes!”.

Thereafter a dialogue began on Soundcloud between the official Aphex Twin account and user 48736353001 who just uploaded a stream of tracks - and then some more during the next days. 

After the release of last year’s album "Syro" (and winning a Grammy award), these 110 tracks are like a treasure for every Aphex Twin fan - especially since they are available for free download. Enjoy.
