Felipe Pantone
Transformable Systems
As a self-described "child of the internet era", Argentina-born artist Felipe Pantone's first solo exhibition “Transformable Systems“ at Joshua Liner Gallery is filled with abstract works reminiscent of the digital age. The dynamic images, separated into three distinct bodies of work and created using computer-generated graphs, UV-printing and other digital and non-digital means of manipulation combine bright colors with the recognizable shapes of QR-codes, grids and enlarged pixels.
Pantone, who orgininally hails from the graffiti world and studied Fine Art in Valencia, Spain, also offers visitors the opportunity to engage in some of his works by changing their infinite color dynamics, showing that technology and human interaction are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
The exhibition, which runs from September 6 through October 13, 2018 can be viewed at Joshua Liner Gallery, NYC.
