we are the flesh
If there's one film this year - well, so far - that knew how to polarize basically every audience regardless of the festival it was screened at, then it certainly is “Tenemos La Carne“ - We Are The Flesh.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the debut of Mexican director Emiliano Rocha Minter is hard to swallow, indeed, as it isn't too interested in delivering any kind of easy answers about what you've just seen, but in blasting an unforgettable iconoclasm of explicit imagery instead. The film - which actually gets a lot of support by Alejandro Iñarritu and Carlos Reygadas - will be screened in Germany at this year's Fantasy Filmfest and you can watch the NSFW trailer below to get at least a lose idea of what will hit you.
