2019 was a great year for movies - not necessarily for genre films though. Things will hopefully look more promising this year, and a first indicator just arrived in the form of the new nightmarish trailer for “Gretel & Hansel“.

Admittedly, another adaptation of the Grimm classic isn’t necessarily something that should get you overly excited. But since it’s directed by Osgood Perkins - not only the son of Anthony, but the creative force behind the overall chilling horror gems “The Blackcoat’s Daughter“ and “I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives In The House“ - this sure got our attention immediately.
