5BORONYC just released the collaborative project ‘5B Airline Series’, illustrated by Stefan Marx. Marx has always had a fascination for modern day jets and an obsession for drawing them. Dive into the recently published 148 page book  “Economy Class” (by NY’s Dashwood Books) for more evidence.

For the ‘5B Airline Series’, Stefan Marx selected his favourite modern day jets, ranging from his local European domestic flights, the A-320 Shuttle, to his overseas destinations flying aboard the well known 747-800’s. Of course each plane has Marx’s signature eyes in the cockpit windshield, a range of print techniques from ten colours, all illustrated in his hand drawn style and with his geek knowledge of both plane details.

There are five boards / planes with a unique registration number representing the five NYC’s boroughs. Plane number six is the “JFK” airport model and features a special illustrated graphic wrap inlcluding NYC’s iconic Greek Coffe Cup, The Big Apple, A hot spicy slice and The 5Boro snake mascot comprised of a streaming stack of potato chips - Stefan’s favorite snack.
