CONTURBANARIES

Contemporary and Urban Fine Arts

CONTURBANARIES Art Fair returns this fall for its second year as an event for contemporary art with its roots embedded in young urban culture.

Over a period of four days during the Berlin Art Week, opening on September 18th 2014, the program showcases a generation of up coming artists. Attracting some of the most talked about artists, galleries, and curators related to subcultures, CONTURBANARIES Art Fair rallies against the familiar grind of the art fair seasons breaking it down to the basics. STATTBAD Wedding, one of Berlin’s leading underground cultural hub, is hosting the event. On a 1500 sqm exhibition space dedicated to 16 galleries and international art projects, CONTURBANARIES is also a festival that includes a film program, numerous live painting performances, a very large lounge area on the terrace and foyer of STATTBAD and a wild-out Berlin style opening party creating a meeting point for networking and exchange.
