A Joker-origin story might not be something to be too thrilled about, and hiring Todd Phillips as the director most definitely is an odd choice - but, yes, basically everything about this trailer feels perfectly right. It's actually a bit like watching a dark and fucked-up version of “The King of Comedy“.
