Fury

“Each man is only as strong as the man beside him“. Well, if you like to see Brad Pitt killing nazis with a tank instead of taking their scalps this time around, then WWII-porn “Fury“ - directed by David Ayer, the guy behind the slightly overrated “End of Watch“ - should be just right up your alley.

“April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and out-gunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.“

The film will open this fall in the US and UK, while it will be released as “Herz Aus Eisen“ (ha!) on 1 January 2015 over here in Germany.
