It Follows : Competition

win soundtracks, tickets & more

It’s a bit like “The Virgin Suicides“ meets “Halloween“ - but different. However you want to describe this movie in a nutshell, one thing everyone will easily agree on is that David Robert Mitchell's follow-up to his subtle indie crowd pleaser “The Myth of the American Sleepover“ surely is one of the most original (and creepiest) horror films in recent times.

After a highly successful festival and theatrical run all over Europe, things will finally speed up for “It Follows“ in Germany as well, as Weltkino brings this unique chiller to the big screen on July 9.

To celebrate the German release of “It Follows“, we are giving away three fantastic lucky bags, which include a) the great synth-driven soundtrack by Disasterpeace on vinyl b) two cinema tickets for you to see this outstanding horror film, and c) the movie poster. All you have to do is write a mail to info@lodownmagazine.com with “It Follows“ as the subject matter, including your full name and address. Deadline is July 2nd.

“It Follows is a classic boy-meet-girls story, only the boy is using a fake name, the girl doesn’t know, and after they sleep together it turns out he’s passed more than fluids — specifically, a curse that makes her the target of an unstoppable, unmerciful demon. The demon takes human form; it can’t be seen by anyone but the cursed, and those who’ve previously born the curse.“
