Twenty minutes: that’s the time it takes to visit Luc Schuhmacher's upcoming exhibition and sound installation 'Plus bas que terre' at Paris' Backslash Gallery.

It's also the name of one of the works: several series of drawings on envelopes and a recording of a voice that, for 3 minutes and 46 seconds, relates snatches of a nightmare that lasted 10 days and 10 nights. Various series of drawings and texts, lying on the wooden floor. For each series, a mechanism is fastened to the wall that you can choose to activate or not. Pull the rope: the recording flows through the space with a murmuring sound. If you lend it your ear, a story will unfold.
