It’s called ‘The Infamous…’ and it was a darkly nihilistic masterpiece, as well as one of the greatest rap albums of the 90s. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of that now legendary album, New York rap duo Mobb Deep will return to the UK for their first tour in a decade. It will see the duo perform all the classic tracks from ‘The Infamous…’ , plus international hit singles including the 2005 UK Number 1, ‘Outta Control’ by 50 Cent feat. Mobb Deep. 

Pioneering with their music and lyrics at the time and influencing a host of other hip hop acts that followed, hip hop duo Prodigy and Havoc from Queensbridge, New York, released their much heralded album, ‘The Infamous….’ in April 1995 and went on to work alongside the cream of East Coast hip hop: Jay Z, Nas, Raekwon and 50 Cent.  “The Infamous…” which combined Mobb Deep’s trademark gritty, often violent lyrics with heavy, sample laden, atmospheric beats is still heralded as a hip hop classic, and critically and commercially it was a huge success.
