Every once in a while it happens that you stumble over a producer, musician or DJ by accident, somebody you’ve never heard of before, whose musical selection just blows you away and you’re like „Why didn’t I? How could it be?“. Those were my thoughts after listening to Nicolaj Birgens’ a.k.a. Nixxon’s mix „Voodoos ‘N’ Ketamine“ (you’ll find it in the recommendations list on our SC profile). It usually doesn’t take long until contacts are made and if you’re lucky you’ll have something in your mailbox a few weeks later…

Nixxon is a Copenhagen-based DJ who has released on Mond Musik and his own label Cytown Records. His upcoming release will be out on Macadam Mambo soon. A while ago he ran a club called Disco Vendetta in Copenhagen which later turned into a radio program called Radio Vendetta. He’s a heavy record digger and he's been travelling around a lot to play in some of the most exciting spaces in Europe.
