Philip Ashforth Coppola is a New Jersey-based illustrator, who has spent the last 38 years sketching NYC's subway stations in his free time.

The short portrait of this dedicated artist, who's doing all his sketches with just a ballpoint pen, is the latest installment by Great Big Story. Coppola will definitely continue to work on this pet project - even though it will take him until 2040 to finish drawing all stations.
