Thomass Jackson, argentinian producer and DJ, now residing in Mexico City, has been around for a long time, being into various bands throughout the 90s before he got into the electronic scene in ´98 thanks to massive raves being held in Buenos Aires. Early productions got released on Chris Allison’s label Sonic 360, Gigolo Records as (bass player for) „Capri“ and on Gomma, followed by releases on Correspondant, Play Pal, Multi Culti, Souvenir and La Dame Noir in the past few years, with „Stillness of Mind“, „Social Assassin“ and his „Chic Face“ remix for Did Virgo probably being some of the most honorable mentions.

Now he felt it’s about time and he teamed up with another mexican producer, Iñigo Vontier, to start their own label Calypso.

„As I’ve launched my new label with Iñigo Vontier a few weeks ago I decided to include some unreleased tracks of mine and of some friends for this mix that will be coming out soon. 

Calypso it's the name of the label and we'll be focusing on releasing mostly latin american artists but with remixers from all over the world. We have some pretty cool music coming out soon.
