In guns we trust

The Canadian photographer and filmmaker Nicolas Lévesque has found the perfect artistic form to talk about one of the most controversial issues the US has to offer: guns.

Some cities made the 2nd amendment their credo. Nicolas Lévesque’s short documentary introduces viewers to Kenneswa, Georgia, where firearm ownership is not only a constitutional right, but also a legally-codified obligation.

In 1982, legislation was passed requiring every household in Kennesaw, Georgia to own a gun and ammunition. “In Guns we Trust” takes the viewer on a stunning cinematographic exploration of this town where the right to bear arms trumps every argument.
