Numskull

Well-known for his involvement in the graffiti and street art movements, Sydney-based artist Numskull is now leaving the exterior world in order to present his latest work at the “Backwoods Gallery” in Melbourne.

“Bright Lights” is a series of paintings and sculptures that shows a life long fascination with social conditioning. Numskull makes people reconsider their notion of perfection through his art as he manages to show the beauty in every flaw. His headless characters are a reflection of our society, which forces viewers to face the fact that they are headless people, too - always aiming for a nonexistent perfection.

The show will be on display from the 1st of August until the 10th of August 2014 at the Backwoods Gallery in Melbourne, Australia.

The opening night is on the 1st of August from 6 to 10pm.
