The Pheels remind one of early Outkast, or Funkadellic's more mellow and experimental sounds. A city can easily get labelled as having just one music scene, and currently in Atlanta thats Trap.

But Atlanta has a very rich history of Soul, RnB and Gospel music. The Pheels are bringing this tradition into a contemporary and subtly electronic soundscape, whisking listeners into other worlds with the smooth psychedelia of their debut track RNS.
