I really like how enthusiastic Rodriguez gets when he points out Frazetta's influence on (American) pop culture... and rightly so: his interpretation of Conan visually redefined a whole genre, his collaboration with Ralph Bakshi was a groundbraking one in terms of the realism of the animation, not to forget the iconic cover artwork he delivered for bands like Nazareth and Molly Hatchet in the 70s.
