Sergej Vutuc & Rich Jacobs, Philippine Chaumont & Agathe Zaerpour

at HVW8 Berlin

Sergej and Rich are two established artists deeply rooted in skateboard and music culture who had exhibitions all over the globe. This project is an abstract attempt to push the boundaries of what a zine is supposed to be, a tribute to skate zine textures from the 80s and a celebration of zine creativity and exploration. They will show photography works and zines with abstract drawings, photos and xerox experiments. Some works were part of the Movezine show at Seeingthings Gallery in San Jose, 2014.

Philippine and Agathe are two young designers who met at ECAL in Lausanne where they studied graphic design. Uzuri–Ubichi is a documentary glance at the socio-economic politics surrounding textiles and their manifestation in Kenyan fashion. They will present large scale prints from the book project and a video.
