Ulrike Stolte
CROSSING COCOONS
Ulrike Stolte is a young german artist but who has already proved her talent through many exhibitions and art fairs. She is now back in Berlin for a solo exhibition “CROSSING COCOONS” to present her new graphic works which will be shown on June 26th at Galerie im Erd und Feuer in Kreuzberg.
Stolte takes the altering and constant growing of organic structures in nature as a model and inspiration to create her works. Moreover, one of her central subjects is textile, which in its material properties - similar to living skin - helps coating the shapes and let them grow up to realistic and three-dimensional shells.
“ With her expressive artworks, Stolte presents new perspectives on perceptible 'Formwelten' (worlds of forms) which can be explored and reinvented by every observer based on his wealth of experience.”
Chaos, colours and accumulations of shapes will be the main topics of her solo show. Don’t miss it!
