Vibskovski;72 III

at Ruttkowski;68

December 16, 2016 - January 15, 2017

The Danish multidisciplinary artist HENRIK VIBSKOV is exhibiting at Cologne's infamous
Ruttkowski;68 Gallery for the 3rd time around.
Know for his distinctive style and transcending different mediatypes touching art, music, fashion, set and costume design, as well as product and exhibition design, Vibskov was already breaking away from the ordinary by the time he started his first year as a fashion design student at London art college Central Saint Martins. He created an egg-shaped men’s coat that concealed the body in every direction. After graduating with great honor, Vibskov returned to his home country of Denmark and launched his eponymous fashion label that is known for its avant-garde collections and progressive fashion shows that veer toward performance art. In addition to his ready-to-wear collections, Vibskov also designs costumes and sets for music, theatre and opera productions.

In everything Vibskov does, it’s art that informs his work and serves as its foundation.

Vibskovski;72 III is his third solo exhibition with Ruttkowski;68. It presents the full range of Henrik Vibskov’s world, from flat works to three-dimensional installations.

Ruttkowski;68 is a contemporary art gallery located on Bismarckstraße 70 in Cologne, Germany.
