Creating a new uninhibited design aesthetic to disrupt the expected, the Prophere is stepping into the scene and disregards the ordinary. The sleek race car-like wedge shape is complimented by the daring sculpted midsole unit and it’s dynamic texture to form a rebellious force. Only the defiant three-stripe side panel overlay is taming the horsepower, I mean holding the laces in place. Technical innovations are underlined by the aerodynamic raw-edge leather heel cage fusing with the one-piece soft knit upper construction. Very well functioning features like the slip-on Primeknit upper don’t need to be re-invented and were modified from the positive Ultra Boost experiences. The Prophere is the latest addition to the adidas Originals family and stands out with a bold new look.

With Prophere we wanted to take a different view of our archive and looked to the unapologetic aesthetic of the 90s, when the brand experimented with bold silhouettes. We took the provocative and uncompromising thinking of the era and reimagined it for today - a confident approach to branding and unexpected proportions of toolings were the inspiration for Prophere.
