“A young man in a personal tailspin flees the US to Italy, where he sparks up a romance with a woman harboring a dark, primordial secret.“
Admittedly, the synopsis of Aaron Moorhead's and Justin Benson's genre bender “Spring“ - which feels like a Richard Linklater film told by H.P. Lovecraft - doesn't sound too special, but their film received a lot of early praise while being on the recent festival circuit. If you're located in Germany, you shouldn't miss the chance to see it on the big screen during the Fantasy Filmfest Nights this March.
