Mirko Machine started as a B-Boy in 1984 and got infected by Graffiti shortly after. Seeing Grandmixer DST and hearing Jazzy Jeff, put turntablism on the number one spot. After his first "scratch sessions" with the volume control of the ghettoblaster, he switched to two Technics SL 1210 in 1988. 

He was spinning on numerous concerts and partys in Europe, the Ivory Coast, Togo, Nigeria, USA.. with the likes of Gangstarr, Dj Premier, KRS-ONE, Eminem, Das EFX, Jeru The Damaja, Talib Kweli, Masta Ace, Ed OG, Lords of the Underground, Beatnutz, Paris, ..

Mirko Machine hosted his own radio show »The Real Deal Radio Show« from 1996 to 1999, broadcasting from his hometown Oldenburg and for 5 years (1995 to 2000) he was the official »Battle Of The Year« DJ.

Besides giving Turntablism Workshops in Hamburg at the Vibra School of Djing, he is back on air with the »Real Deal Radioshow« since 2008 and is doing the renown "Flavor of the Month“. The FOTM 5th anniversary was reason enough to visit him in his studio and accompany the celebration.
